Cheryl and I lived in Dana Point, California for many years so it's a location very dear to our hearts. I'm also afflicted with an odd neurological disorder (different from Kat's) so writing about a life led dealing and working around a challenging issue that affects us daily, meant something more to me than simply giving a protagonist a quirky feature. This series is my first venture out of the Cayman Islands (apart from my co-written projects) as I felt it was time for bad stuff to stop happening to the small island we adore!
